Welcome to Dallas Chapter 30

Who We Are

Dallas, TX Chapter 30 is one of 300 chapters and satellites in the United States and Canada of The Mended Hearts, Inc.  Our chapter, founded in 1973, has been actively involved with our mission of offering caring support, hope and education for Dallas area heart patients.

We are comprised of individuals, family members and caregivers who have experienced heart disease and/or surgical procedures and have joined together as a Mended Hearts chapter to offer support and education to heart patients.  We serve heart patients at three Dallas area hospitals; Medical City Dallas Hospital, Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas and Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano, and at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital-WNJ in Sherman, Texas.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide support, hope, comfort and education to heart patients for a full and rewarding life following a heart procedure.  We assist heart patients, their family and other caregivers through our monthly meetings, monthly newsletter, tri-weekly hospital visits, and our offers of personal contact and counsel.  We are dedicated to reaching out to other heart patients during the time when they need support.

Our National Organization

Our chapter is part of The Mended Hearts Inc., a national, non-profit, cardiac support organization formed in 1951.  The Mended Hearts, Inc. is headquartered in Dallas, TX.  The 2 minute video below will give you a brief overview of Mended Hearts.
